IMAX
Socially impacting the big screen
Social media management
Did you know that the 1994 cult movie “Tammy and the T-Rex” was made because the writer/director randomly had access to an animatronic T-Rex for two weeks? We didn’t open with that when IMAX tapped us to manage their social channels, but we might have mentioned it in passing.
We’ve doubled IMAX’s
cross platform engagement.
Known for its massive movie screens, IMAX was in search of an agency that could bring equally big ideas and engagement to its presence on social media. For the record, those screens are six stories tall. But our very healthy infatuation with pop-culture, love of movies and track record for smart social strategies added fresh, electric ideas to the equation.
By implementing new content initiatives and real-time pop-culture commentary, and encouraging collaboration with the IMAX team, we’ve doubled their cross-platform engagement year over year.
And since all good stories deserve a spin-off, IMAX also tapped Lemonade to lead the creative ideation and execution of announcing IMAX Enhanced on Disney+, which was huge industry news.
For this social media effort, we worked with IMAX, Disney+ and Hollywood honchos the Russo Brothers to develop an awareness campaign that wove together brand education and entertainment.
Annnnd, we created a bunch of animated GIFs.
